    Talking Vintage Seats

Just took delivery of a pair of ST and RS seats done in hooundstooth. The seats are fantastic and Mark is a first rate guy to work with.

Seats look great, i've always liked the houndstooth.

In which models/years was the houndstooth offered?

I'm trying to picture my fata$$ fitting in those seats and I gotta tell ya....it doesn't look like a lot of room for da caboose unless you're a horse jockey.

I think they can use that material on any of their seats. Paul they are snug, I don't have the build of a Jockey, they will fit normal people.

Big Arse, Small Arse, Any Arse will do.

I'm no welter weight and I fit in mine just fine. The factory original "R" seat that I owned once was tight as a drum. It was ostensibly the same seat that I have now in my "Vintage Seats".
Peter Z originally made the molds a little "loose".
As the fiberglass aged it tended to "cave" in on you (the thin stuff of the race cars). This was true in my old "R" seat. It had caved a bit from age and "cycling of arses".
His widening of the molds allowed them to be a bit more comfortable which was a beneficial by-product of his design.
The Vintage Seats are a lot thicker than the originals which IMHO is a plus since over time they are less likely to suffer fatigue and stress cracking.

    Good luck,

    Tom

I think he ended up doing the Houndstooth section at his shop since material took so long to get.

Hope you can keep them clean. White tends to get dirty and/or stain easily. You may want to Scotch Guard (3M) them.
