24 Hour Lemans arrives on British Airways

Will be picking up Ray Crawford tonight.
He has taken at least 10 hrs of movie film and 1,000's of pictures. I think he is doing is own version of Lemans.

Staying with Thorsten in Germany, was the best thing we ever did.
He, was the best host and a great person to travel with. With all his guidance and scheduling it made the trip easy with no stress. We would of missed at least 10 beer gardens without him. A great guy to be around. We were lucky to have such a great guy with us.

Audi: Seems to be miles ahead of everyone else. They made it look easy and amazing to watch. Audi diesel had the sound of a sewing machine with the power of an F-1 car. I'm sure Ray will fill everyone in.

Thanks Will..............and welcome home mon frere.

Look forward to hearing more of the stories, and seeing the pics. Lars let us all know you had called from France (after a few beers), and relayed that you had enjoyed lunch with Alois and the Yellow Bird driver. I'm sure there are some great recollections. Look forward to hearing all about them.

    Talk soon buddy

    pictures coming

I am still on Germany time. Will picked me up Thursday night at 8..(true friends are the ones who pick you up at the airport) I have been awake since 3 a.m. Oh well.....

I ONLY have about 5 hours of video. and BETWEEN Thorsten and I, ONLY 700 photos....add Will's 300, pretty close to a thousand
Honestly, not sure how many..LOTS of photos, I was on my 5th tape one hour tape.

We visited many Beer Gardens, Stuttgarts Wine Garden ALL were jumping due to the World Cup. Not like here in the US, those Soccer fans PARTY

Will and I visited Alois Ruf and his wife. They took us to lunch. Ruf's favorite restaurant. The same chef who came out to Daytona for Rennsport II, who catered Ruf's party there.

We met Stefan Baur, "Mr. White Sox", the driver of the Yellow Bird in the Ruf's video. Per Alois Ruf, he is called Mr. White Sox because you do not see his face at all in the video, just his feet.

Photos coming soon....Sam, when you read this, call me..I'll need your help
