Thought I might learn a bunch from this thread. For starters, my '72 has the external oil fill door on the passenger side just behind the door. This, as all on this board knows, was particular to 1972 911 vehicles. What other quirks are out there?

I actually found a good use for the dash crack yesterday. I used the Ohio Turnpike for a short stint and the crack held my turnpike ticket perfectly. Windows and sunroof were open and the ticket didn't waver a bit, even at 85mph.

Seller has a supposedly real RS motor for auction too. How does one verify authenticity aside from number? It's on Ebay too but can't direct you the link due to my lack of computer knowledge.
Cheers.

Hello: All my early 911's have gauges in metric. Some have bad body work and the dash crack option as well. All have no sunroofs and light colored roof covering. Lastly all are not running right now. Oh well. Thanks Eric
