    1973 S Targa for sale

howdie folks, sorry for not having registred earlier and only now doing so to sell my car... i've been on Pelican the last years, maybe some know me from there

    i am selling my 1973 Porsche 911S Targa, with a 2.4S engine
not happy about it , but i want to move away from Holland (i'mt not dutch) and i need the cash flow

    the Vin/Chassis number is 9113310110

the engine is a type 911/53 , an S engine, and has been professionally rebuilt by Duel.nl

New Camshafts, rockers , new Pistons and Cyllinders, heads were rebuilt by a machine shop with new valves, valve guides , valve seats and valve springs Conrods were inspected and bigend was machined to orignal spec, Engine builder also resurfaced the heads. over , new Hydraulic chain tensioners were installed, new upper and lower valve covers
everything exactly according to the 73 S spec, except for the hydraulic tensioners.

13000 € worth of bills for the engine alone, not including MFI rebuild or other work done on the car..

the MFI pump was rebuilt by Koller.de , and 6 new mfi injectors installed

new high torque starter, rebuilt alternator , msd 6AL ignition and magnecor spark wires installed

Chassis received rust repair at the floorpan by a professional restoration company, specialized in oldtimers. Car was also resprayed in that location, paint is 8/10

interior is fair, not perfect, car has aftermarket seats in good condition, no tears in the fabric, back seats are in great shape as is the lining, the dashboard has one tiny crack in it, bearly noticable, the vinyl lining in the dashboard (the button/radio strip across the dash) is currently removed, since a Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio was installed, ( needs wiring up) , and this type of radio requires that the vinyl is covering the radio..

the Targa Roof is in ok shape

Car sits on R16 J7 fuchs, with the little fox logo inside the wheel, tires are BF Goodridge 205/55 the tires have plenty of thread left

overal the car drives well, sounds magnificent

    the car is on ebay

if there are any questions about the car/auction, please do not hestiate to contact me , preferably through Ebay, i might not be able to respond quickly through the registry forum, depends on where i am at the time , some of the sites where i work only allow me email , not websites

It's good to finally see you over here! I bet you have better luck selling to the European buyers with the dollar so weak.

auction finished, did not hit my minimum price
came close , but there has to be a bottom limit

unfortunately , ebay.nl didn't allow a reserve to be set
so had to enlist a hench man to at least cover the minimum
bit silly , but it would have been worse to see the car snitched away at a ridiculous price...

you know what they say , if you let it free, and it goes away , it wasn't yours to keep in the first place, but if it does stay , it must have been meant to be...

or sometin like that, i dunno
