Curt,
your photo shows a car with an early 4 screw horn grill, and an early turn signal. The license plate is an Italian plate, with the provincial designator code of BS which stands for Brescia. The license plate was used from 1927 to 1976.

I have never seen this version before. Other than this very special lens in the picture there is 4 versions, Two Italian (one all clear and one 1/3 amber, 2/3 clear), one Euro(2/3 amber 1/3 clear) and one US (all amber). Correct?

That is a really nice looking car. Lots of unoique things like the hood tie downs mounted to the fenders rather than the front bumper. Also it has a very unique color scheme: Sepia and silver??!! Any pic's of the rear and interior available?
My thoughts are these are either the Italian version of SWB lights, or they are expertly homemade. On 2nd though, I think Rennman had a SWB Italian car and the front parking light lens didn't look like that. I'll stick with the homemade theory. Leave it to Curt to come up with a fresh cool picture. It inspires me to get off my butt and back to work on my projects.

That was my first thought as well - first sepia car I've seen that i really like. Then I found the side view of the rear ....![]()
BTW: I believe these photos are from a recent rally in Poland.
Also: it looks like he has some sort of plexiglass door window that slides side-to-side - pretty cool.
Whats with the rear wheel/wheel arc alignment?
