Some old vintage rules stated "no crankfire". Here is an Electromotive HPV-1 Bosch 911 distributor mounted trigger wheel. This one if my memory serves correctly is for twin plug.![]()

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.
that is creative ! Usually crankfire is not allowed as it is harder to police rev limits.

I have one of those, but--it never made it pass Tech because no distributor cap with 6 (or 12) plug wires. It works equally well with single or twin plug; just plug a Y-cable in and you are set to go

Very clever guys over at Electromotive...
A little story and perspective...
Before Don Devendorf started Electromotive and ran the US factory Nissan IMSA effort, he was racing in the same SCCA C-Sedan class my friend Hector was in his Alfa GTA Jr. in 1973. After pretty much sewing-up the regional C/S title we thought we'd go run with the 'big boys' at a couple of National races...![]()
We're at Riverside and in pulls Devendorf towing the brand new Sun & Moon sponsored Datsun B-210 for it's maiden race..... Devendorf broke the C/Sedan National class record on his second practice lap...![]()
Reading the writing on the wall we figured that day was end of the 'little guy', out of his garage at home, winning at a National level........![]()
Oh, besides all the backing... Don was a hell'of'a driver to boot....![]()
.... and so it goes
