Camber plates : Weltmeister or Tarett

    Hello,

I have difficulties to set properly my camber in front suspension. One of my strut head adjustment is at maximum (pic 1). I need some millimeters more to fit perfectely in factory settings (the spindle probably met some pavement border...).

I am thinking to replace the OEM camber plate by new ones that offer more capabilities of camber adjustment. I think to the Weltmeister CM-1300 (pic 3) or the Tarett Engineering ones (pic 2) ...

I don't know wich one offers the widest range of camber setting. The Welt have two sets of mounting holes, Tarett says about offset mounting holes, narrower housing, and smaller bearing boss ... but at the end I don't know wich one allows the widest range of camber settings (positive OR negative, not only negative)

Many thanks for your advice !

I think the CamberKing by WEVO will get you more camber than either of those. They are a bit pricey, as are all the WEVO bits, but you get what you pay for with Hayden. The Tarett would be my second choice.

The Camberking looks pretty nice but the kit includes a strut brace that I do not really need for my specific use ...

I'm pretty sure you can buy it without the strut brace.

Check his website here for details on the decambered ball joints. He also sells the Tarett camber plates.

If you don't want the strut brace with the WEVO Camberking, you can buy a pair of the plates alone for a little less than $500. If you already have a welded brace or don't want one at all, I believe you can use a set of the 914 plates on a 911, as pictured on their website:
