Smile New to the Forum and to Porsche

I too am a newbie. I recently talked myself into purchasing a 67 911S, #307465S. It is going to need lots of work as the floor pan, firewall and most of the interior is pretty much shot. I am having the original engine rebuilt now and expect to have it back later this year. Fortunately it is all there save a radio and a transmission.
I have looked at Stoddards, Pelican, Autobahn interiors, etc but most of all am looking for folks to talk to regularly about this restoration for guidance on where to start and maybe where to stop before bankruptcy hits. I see this as a long term project taking years and probably lots of cash. I am in the greater Washington DC area, actually about 68 miles NW of DC in the WV panhandle.

Always open to suggestions. I am fairly handy but I know some of this like the metal work is going to be farmed out. Any suggestions or those in the area that are willing to talk, meet, discuss, HELP, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.
