    S front spoiler

I just bought a 68 L targa for parts it has a steel S spoiler on it are they the same for the lwb cars or were they produced aftermarket in steel? This is the second 911 L targa I have seen with the steel S spoiler. Thanks

The steel front split chin spoiler first appeared on the 1972 S and later on the 1973 E & S. The correct bumper on the 1968 had those 25 pound weights on the corners and "L" shaped brackets. Dimensionally, the SWB bumper will fit on the LWB car and visa versa. I have never run across a steel reproduction so most likely they are OEM. If you want to sell it, let me know, Thanks Allan
