    Hockenheim 1967

Alright, Curt's always giving us all the good old stuff, here's some from me, well actually my neighbor...

He saw me climbing out from under my car this afternoon driving by then showed up at the garage with a few photos in hand.

It turns out they're from a 1967 Hillclimb outside Hockenheim. First they'd race up the hill, then at the end, they'd come down as a group, as sen in a couple of the photos. Everyone was just hanging out in the woods drinking beer and having a blast when the red one (904 or 910 ????) lost it and hit the big tree. No one got hurt, they just pushed the car out of the way and continued with the next car.

Great pictures. The white Porsche looks a 906 to me.

    Thanks for sharing.

Geeat photos! How times have changed in forty years. Third photo.
"Hey baby, put on your best red dress, I will wear my three piece suit and we will sit in the forest watching a race!"

That same photo today would be 300 drunk guys with a 6 foot wall between them and the cars.

Anyway, the white car is a 906. The red car is not Porsche - not sure what it is but for some reason Saab comes to mind, but that is a WAG.
