Hi,

I have a few "while I'm in there" activities that I'm doing while I am rewiring the dash. One of these is removal of the wiper linkage for cleaning and re-greasing. I have the wiper motor out and all the hardware that is accessible when removing the arms. I also have the canvas "strap" disconnected.

What's the trick to getting the linkage extensions to release through the body? Are these just a friction fit against the feedthrough grommet? I'm not that wild about pounding on the arms until I know that's the recommended procedure for getting them to unstick.

Any help appreciated!
