    FS: 1970 911 E Motor (carb conv.) $3500

    From craigslist:

No affiliation. MFI was replaced by carbs and not included in sale.

    Post:
This is a complete 1970 Porsche 2.2 Liter 911 E engine with all the engine tin, oil tank, etc. The original Bosch MFI has been replaced by Zenith 40TIN carbs, but otherwise the engine is complete and to my knowledge original. The engine was last run 4 or 5 years ago, and the leakdown test showed two cylinders at 40% and the rest at 55 to 60%. The cams looked great, however, and I am guessing that this engine has never been rebuilt. The engine has the sportamatic fitting (which was unused).
