Jim - haven't got the shop manual to hand but the Factory Tech Spec booklet states:

Rear caliper retaining bolts - 7 mkp (50.6 ft lbs)
Driveshaft flange (allen head M10) bolts - 8.3 mkp (60 ft lbs)

Thumbs up Virtual Santa has Arrived!

    RPMClassics,

No need to be without a workshop or parts manual for your 911. Manuals are available and can be downloaded in portable document format (pdf). A number of posts on this message board previously contain links to websites for downloadable pdf versions of both workshop and parts manuals. As cited by Paul Schooley in a previous post ”Not sure if you fellas know about this, but here's a link for a ton of early workshop manuals, PET, etc. “ That site is still active today and manuals can be downloaded:

    http://www.cannell.co.uk/Manuals.htm

For parts manuals, your local Porsche dealer’s parts dept. can supply an official Porsche CD-ROM - part number 000 043 400 05. Or if you are frugal like me, Adobe PDF format versions are available to download from the Porsche USA website, link:

    http://www11.porsche.com/usa/accesso...spdfcatalogue/

It is nice to have the official hard copy Porsche printed manuals. However the pdf versions do have one advantage in that you can print out the specific pages of interest, mark them up to your heart’s desire, then the hardcopy can be saved for future reference, or simply thrown away.

As far as a workshop manual on DVD, Semjon offered a very professionally done super nice copy a few months ago on this message board. Semjon also had posted pdf copies on a website, however that link no longer appears active.

Probably preaching to the choir, but as others often have said, just my 2cents worth.

Believe these links will provide pdf information applicable to your 911s.
Enjoy your 911 project and keep us updated!

The all-important "up to '69" manual is not on the web site. That is the crucial building block manual for all the rest.
