    2.0 engine on ebay

    does anyone have the conatct info for the 2.0 s engine that was for sale on ebay just recently. It was built up and rated at about 200hp. The buy it now was 25000. Also , whats everyones thoughts on that particular engine. Thanks.

    thats the one , thanks Richard. I have a 67 s project that I would like to have a little hotter then the original. Its matching numbers, anybody have a idea what it would take to get 190-200hp out of my original 2.0.Maybe it would be a good idea to just shelve my original engine and go with something more like that one. Ideas? what do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

    My '67 plain jane has the original 2.0 engine built to 2.7 and produces 200+ HP. Pictures and info here.

    There are several ways to achieve that level of power in an early engine.

    Just remember that with larger displacement you should get better driveability due to better torque figures and a flatter power curve.

    I'm not sure $$$ wise, as it was done by the P.O. I have most of the receipts, but I have never added them up. Plus, it was a few years ago so I imagine prices are much higher today.

    I highly recommend it though -- great fun to drive.
