    Wink Great Stuff!!

It was a lot of fun! I would have loved to find more suitcases, vintage signs, or recaro seats, more manuals, more memorabilia but good stuff:

    Eric or some one else,

I believe that the last name of this seller in the upper picture (grey shirt) is Lang. Is that the dad of Olaf Lang who used to work at Porsche Stuttgart before he passed away?

    LIT meet

I was at the Lit meet and swap meet helping a friend sell a bunch of spare parts left over after he restored 5 356's. I added some of my garage clutter as well. It seemed to me that that there were fewer in attendance than the last 2 years, but then again it was a rainy weekend. The Lit and Toy meet seemed to be pretty typical to me with respect to the items offered. The swap meet was much the same although I think the rain did deter some from coming. The venue was great I thought. The guys at Auto Kennel were gracious hosts and the set up was really good. We sold almost everything we had and we were amazed at how many foreign buyers came for the weekend. I sold parts to guys from Italy, Germany, Sweden and Japan!! Our weak US dollar is making it a bargain to shop for parts over here. I sold more than I bought, so for me it was a good weekend.

    Wink Few.....

I have to say that I expected a lot more parts and rare memorabilia.

No sample books, no 911 travel kits, no seats or through the grill lights....prices were quite steep but everything 911 pre 1974 was sold before 8 a.m....Ebay has clearly become a significant competitor....

Richard, yes that's Olafs father Paul. He's always there in the same spot every year with his wife Christina(?). I always find some great things from him, every year.

I had been wondering this for a long time. BTW I didn't want to upset Milou but did mr Lang give you that SWB travel kit at a gift price?

What time did you get there??? I was there at 7:20 !

I did see a nos travel kit, but it was for a 356 and offered for over USD 4.000! if I remember correctly....

But I do have a travel kit already purchased at Essen last year...

Was also busy sight seeing LA :

And in the end didn't do badly :

I hope next year overseas visitors will have access at 6:00am....
