placement of passenger-side windshield decal (71)

looking for the placement measurements of the weltmeister decal on the passenger side of the windshield- anyone have an old one still affixed they can look at to see how many inches up and how many inches over the decal should be placed?

Martin- thanks very much! I just want to get an idea of where "correct" placement should be so that it's not too far to the side or too high, etc...

    Thanks again!

Here is the decal placement, the closest dimension to the rubber is about 13/14mm, though as you can see, it varies. My build date is 11-70
    Hope this helps.

I have seen factory placed decals that were actually crooked. I don't know if there were specific measurements used in placing these. I imagine a guy just slapping them onto the glass in the factory. I don't know, really, I just imagine there was no science to it. My point is, I don't think you can go too far wrong as long as it looks to be placed like the picture in the 911 & 912 Porsche guide to restoration and authenticity.

Some late 71 build cars had placed the 69/70 decal already on their rear windows.

Never saw an 69/70/71 sticker on a 1971 2.2litre car...wasn't the championship due in late 71 so its impossible to have the factory using them in late June 71 ?

Hi all, Im new here. Im getting ready to restore my 1970 911t (59k miles, Originally Burgundy but repainted Red in late 70's...now going back to Burgundy, S gages, factory AC, 901 5 sp) that Ive had since high school. It has been in storage since 1983.....Anyway, I was also wanting one of the stickers but not sure if my 70 came with one. I dont ever remember one and there wasnt one on the glass when I took it out last week. Anyway, my serial no is 9110120327 and Im not sure where to find the build date. Im wondering if someone can tell me if my car came with the sticker (the 32 one). Thanks for all the help. Sorry, Im a newbie here.
