    And SVRA:

I just decided that I will not attend Palm Beach HSR (mostly because I can go to Watkins Glen for less money). But that is just a personal opinion from my prospective.

I will be at HSR Sebring. I am sure sure that Juan will kick my butt, but he is just too fast.

Nonetheless, please allow us all to get together. We could take a few pictures and show everyone how fast (or slow, in my case) we are.

We do know that eastern racers are faster than western U. S. racers?

    Hey Doc,

I plan to go to all the Florida events this year. Depending on financial considerations, I might go to one out of state event (so take advantage and go to those so you can win ).

    See you at Sebring. Juan

    Juan,
You know how to hurt an old guy.

I remember when I was your age and would drive into a track knowing I would break my personal lap record. Those days are gone. Now I drive into a track hoping that nothing breaks or falls off the car (or me).

Come on Doc, don't give me the "older I get faster I was line" you are pretty fast; its the race group issue.

I decided not to race karts when I saw that I would be racing against kids. I can't see them having the same respect for bone integrity as an older person

Yea, yea. You remind me of Michael Schumacher who said "No risk, no fun".

    I have other excuses.
    • I didn't pass you because you were faster.
    • I was running too much downforce for this configuration.
    • I was racing on old tires.
    • My engine was cutting out.
    • I was suffering from a bad vibration.

"I was twenty feet off the line and passing people by way of the wall at pit lane".

You can see the green flag on the stand. You can see Juan 6 inches from the pit wall with a guy following him in a white car. I have no idea how they all managed to get through T-1 without a problem. Because I was too far back to see it.

I can't get any respect in this fast crowd:

But we do have good parties:

Brian wasn't at this race. He had to work.

The Savannah race has been postponed. It seems that they have a PGA golf tournament the same weekend.

They rescheduled in August (nothing like being in Savannah in August ):

They have also added a new event at Bluegrass Motorsports (track is still under construction). Very interesting track layout: www.drivebluegrass.com
