FS BLAUPUNKT Frankfurt US for '68-'69+

Not long ago I purchased this Blaupunkt Frankfurt US model with the intent of installing it in my ‘67 912. I was not aware (and did not bother to ask) that the earlier set screw type knobs were not interchangeable with this model. I already had the early (65-67) knob set-up from the original Blaupunkt AM radio that came with my car when new. I have since (with help from fellow 912 registry members) pieced together the correct radio for my car and therefore would like to sell this one. As can be seen, this is a “Z” series radio that is correct for 68-69 (and I believe slightly later years) 911/912. The radio is in fine cosmetic and operational condition. The galvanized case looks great and all labels are present. All functions work well. When I received the radio it had a faceplate for (I believe) a ‘68 Jag e-type. I have since procured a somewhat hard to find correct faceplate. There is some dullness and light scratches to the faceplate chrome but otherwise it looks good. I will also include an original partial speaker harness with the important 2-prong plug. The female portion of the fuse holder is not included, but any standard fuse holder can be used. I am also including a spare dial lamp bulb. What you see is what you get. As is usually the case, you will likely need some bits of standard hardware to install in your particular vehicle. This radio is switchable 6-12volt and positive/negative ground and has a jack in the rear that can be used to input a CD player or ipod (mono, of course). I have $435 in the radio as it sits. I will sell for same + shipping cost which will include very careful packing. Thanks!
