WTB Bosch distributor 002 yellow tag or a 001

    Hello, I need for a 67 engine either a 002 yellow tag distributor form a 67S or a 001 from a normal engine.

I have a broken 002 body, I am thinking I can take the parts from my broken distributor and build a 002 out of a much less expensive common 001.

    Any help?

You can do that and have it curved again to the 002. If you need just a body than you might try to find one of another German car, I believe a 60's Mercedes had the same style body w/ an oil nipple but I am not sure about the dimensions. The (drive)gear on the end is def. not of use for a 911. There is a guy on Pelican who has/had such a distributor in his stash.
