Thread: Early Distributor Question.

    Early Distributor Question.

    Hey guys I have a early black tag bosch distributor I will get pictures but,

    It has a black tag that has -
    0231159001
    JFDR6

    Anyone know what this distributor is from? I thought it was a standard 67 meant to say 68 my bad.

    Not sure about 67 but it was used in 68.

    Jon, it's a 64-68, although the USA 68 had a vacuum retard for emissions.

    If you look VERY VERY CLOSELY on the side you should see a three digit date code like "609." If you can find it, post that number. The digits are probably about 1mm high and likely covered in paint.
