Can't make this, but figured I would post:

June 20, not 19 as I put in the title.

Tehachapi Need for Speed Sports Car Show

June 20, 2009 (Fathers Day Weekend)

The Tehachapi Need for Speed Sports Car Show is a unique event with a hot rod car show format but featuring sports cars. The goal is to fill two blocks of Tehachapi downtown streets with as many American, British, German, Italian, and Japanese sports cars as possible. Cars are organized and parked by country of origin. This occurs in the midst of a Chili cook off, large crafts fair, western gun slingers and live music. This is not a concourse, you simply enter and display your car and have a good time. The only judging is people’s choice. You do not need a show car to enter in fact projects are often the most interesting cars in the show. Last year the corvettes out numbered the Porsches and this year we aim to fix that. Entry is $30 which includes a very nice tee shirt and goody bag.

To park together we must arrive together. PCA Porsches are asked to meet at Denny’s restaurant (Highway 58, N. Mill Street exit 149) for an 8:15AM departure to the show.
