    Los Angeles to Monterey....Convoy...????

    Curious to know if anyone is driving up to Monterey from LA?

    I'm thinking of going up early Wednesday August 12th....

    I'm up for a backroads run up there , but need to leave early wednesday so its not big pressure to get up there too fast

    Unfortunately will miss Dave's fun tour. We are leaving Pasadena around 11:30 or 12:00 Wednesday. Dave recommended an alternate route for us to take and still make the 6:30 dinner if we choose to do that.

    I need a place to park my car for a few days after Monterey.

    I plan on meeting wife and kids who are driving to the bay area for a few days of vacation and will need a place to hide/park my car. Can anyone provide some suggestions as to who might provide vehicle accommodations for 3-5 days in/around Berkeley, Oakland or ?
