    need picture of quarter panel at rocker

    i am going ahead full tilt now and i have all the rust fixed on one side, i have replaced the inner and outer rocker as well as the quarter panel,, my replacement need a bit of work

    here is the picture of mine ,

    , what does a good one looks like , before and after , and after leading

    quarter joint

    its close , one of them will help , is there one from the top of the joint , i have spent hour cutting the spot weld from behind of the quaerter to maintain the original line of the joint

    I know you're only dry fitting at the moment, as i can see your screws, but make sure your jack tube goes in further and doesn't lift the outer rocker panel.

    In your photos it looks like it's not under the seat rail support.

    thanks for the heads up , i know its pulled out , i used it to hold the patch as i was screwing it in ,, all the dry fit looks good, all the gaps are good too, i have taken the whole thing apart and drilled the panel in preparation for plug weld, took tomorrow off work to play ( or weld ) there is a lot of progress being done ,, garage marathon comming

    Jack plate tube

    Freezing,

    the jack tube (as "classic" noted) comes out to the rocker turn down angle, not any further. This photo shows about where it ends.

    The inner most end of the jack post has a substantial weld to the pan, just behind the seat rail anchors. Photos with red arrows (two views cuz it's hard to see after the welds have been dressed) showing that weld.

    Also, if your interested in the rocker corner panel for the other (drivers) side. Let me know because I made a few extra.
