I remember very well my first reaction as I walked past Dave's car in Cambria last year where dozens of great cars were packed together like a smorgasboard feast. I walked past it, then backed up, started looking closer at it, and as Randy says in the article...the deeper you go, the better it gets. It is almost a sleeper car...no loud safety colors of the 70s that we all love, but just an integrated package of vintage features and a stance that really works.
Great job Dave in putting the energy and thought into the car, and a well done article as usual by Randy in capturing the essence of this 'stealth long hood'.

A hardy well done to Dave and Randy. I love white cars and this one is spectacular in its understated way. It draws you in without flash, like a gentle seduction. Randy as we have come to expect your prose and photos do it tribute.

All I can say is what took so long for the article!! I've seen Dave's car several times and Randy's description is right-on. The more you look and dig in, the better it is. The subtlety exhibited by this car is just fantastic, and the well executed details are everywhere. I spent 15 minutes just looking at the 930 brakes through the wheels. I also love the unique way that the twin coils are mounted.
Steve McQueen woulda' driven this car, Freeman was right.
Great article as well Randy, as always. Keep up the good work.
