    Anybody have a reliable shop in Dallas to do a PPI? I may have found a suitable car in Texas. Thanks for any leads!

    Ed is the man. Look no further. A gentleman and an expert in our cars. Fixed my car, on the road, 9 o clock at night, after exiting the Mojave desert when i had a fuel pump issue.
    That's Ed on the right, with the beard.

    False alarm! Turns out the car has some rust/engine/f.i. issues. Back to square one on The Hunt.

    And Ed has been at it a long time. Back when I was in college I owned a succession of 356s. A few months ago I came across a hand-written letter I'd received from him responding to some question I had. This was from the 70s, way before email for most of us...
