    Apollo 'Barn Find'

Remember those Airstream travel trailers they'd lock the astronauts in when they returned from the moon? One surfaced at a fish farm in Alabama a few years ago! When you think back and realize the moon landings were probably the most significant achievement in the history of man, how does a piece of this project wind up on a fish farm and not a museum?

Oh, how cool is that! A small reminder of a magical and exciting time of exporation and adventure in the history of our country (and in our life time too).

PS Sure has been downhill ever since the last Apollo flight.

Kewl find. However, the trailer that purportedly was home to the returning Apollo 11 crew is on display at the Smithsonian's newish Udvar-Hazy Air and Space museum annex at Dulles Airport (Virginia).
