    Stripping/Blasting Options in Bay Area?

    Hi All.
I'm looking for a local shop that can strip or soda blast my fan and fan housing. At some point the PO has them painted and I'd like to return to stock naked Al.
Any suggestions for a shop in the SF Bay Area?

    Thanks!

Tom Amon had my fan bead blasted (looks great) by some local guy he knows in SJ. I went with 2 coats of clear..

moblieworkwests.com in case you are interested.

I'm sure lots of local shops can provide the service.

By sheer coincidence I had to stop at Smart Racing / Morspeed today and I put your inquiry to their head bodyman / restoration specialist.

    His recommendation:

    Precision Soda Blasting
    Scott McWhirter - Owner
    Tel: 408. 782. 0931
    e-mail: PSBlasting@sbcglobal.net

He's located in Morgan Hill, has a reputation for superlative work, but does need to be "managed" somewhat....highly recommended by the best.

Happy to PM you details if you're interested.

Excellent. thanks for the help guys.
I'll see who can get it done in my time frame. I've got Tom doing some work right now actually, and I have to say that his name comes up in almost every Porsche conversation these days. Great guy.

Thanks for asking down @ Smart Racing John. I'll give Precision Soda Blasting a call ASAP!
