I have a 70T with a 2.4S (2,2S P&C's) carb'd motor that will be going under the paint gun this winter. Original color is conda green but the PO painted it silver blue metallic (twice). Anyway, I have been sitting on an S spoiler and a pair of Rene's Cibies for a few years. I finally decided one day to have them gulf orange and put them on the car while I get ready for the repaint this winter. Just mounted the spoiler this afternoon, and decided to take a few pic's of the car before mounting the Cibies. I was only able to put one Cibie on the hood because I couldn't get the other one to stop sliding down the hood. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the look before I drink a few beers and pull out the drill tomorrow? My plan is to have the Cibies located down each side of the hood crease and have the top of the Hood lights be approximately 1-2 inches below the top of the headlights. I thought that the orange would look good with blue and also look good with conda green after the repaint is done. If not, I can always repaint them green with the rest of the car for not much extra cost.

Since you asked, I think they are to high. To me they look much better when the lower trim rings are lined up.

    Hi Rob,
Thanks your input. Actually my plan is to have them placed right where you have suggested. As mentioned in my post, the hood slope is too great to allow me to put the Cibies where I want to mount them. In fact the driver side would stay on at all. Too much wax on the hood.
BTW, I have seen pix of that orange car in another thread. It is beautiful.
