lots about this guy on pelican. bottom line, he NEVER actually sells anything. just seems to like the attention.

I remember this guy, a customer wanted me to go out and verify a soft window targa from this guy in Sheridan Wy.
I tried to talk but the guy was an impossible seller so I would not spend any time on the idea.
Every once and a while I meet someone selling a car who just will not sell the car! The impossible seller. Often they want you to offer more than the asking. Too much odd behavior to get involved with unless it is a great deal. That load of cars from hbrand for $250k was the same group of Wy cars, couple of gems and alot of parts cars - the whole thing valued less than $250k if you were to sell everything retail at the time, doesn't make sense??? Watch out.
If he really wants to move any of this stuff then he should individually retail it himself through eBay once small lot at a time, but only with a somewhat trustfull seller name. Spending 6 figures on a deal where one party is not reliable is a dumb deal.
Looks like he finally cleaned the shop.
I think Lars even went out there to visit this guy at one point...

Someone should notify those guys on "American Pickers" to drop by this guy's compound and harass him to buy some stuff, they seem to have good success.
He responded to me and priced me some early LWB fenders. seems like a pretty cool dude. He is getting me shipping prices now
^ keep us posted.
I think it really comes down to personality. I can picture most porsche owners approaching him all thirsty and excited like a kid in a candy store and it seems like he loves playing games.
Hopefully someone gets lucky.
maybe its all stolen stuff. anyone catch any of the serial numbers![]()
