    Adjusting rear fender/bumper gap

    Hi all-
I recently purchased '67 swb and the car's very nice but after closer inspection I'm thinking the rear fender/bumper gap seem a bit wide as compared to my '66, which I know is factory correct (see pics: too wide?/factory).

To whomever knows, what is the best way to tighten up the bumper/fender gap? Is this something I can do myself or will I need a body shop to step in?

Any and all advice, comments, pointers would be GREATLY appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Nick

There's two cheese head bolts that hold it on the longitudinal and your bumper brace holds it out just near the wheel arch.

Additionally there are two small screws that hold it to the licence panel.

Just undo the main three get someone to hold bumper up where you want it aligned with the arch and tighten up the bolts.

I found when redoing my car the the PO or painter had fitted the washers under the bumper, which in turn held it down lower as per your photo.

    Hope that helps.
