Swap from 901 to 915 - clutch pedal shaft

Gurus - in my swap from a 901 to 915 transmission, I see I need a new clutch pedal shaft (the bell crank bit) to match the travel of the clutch. With my 1969 pedal assembly, can anyone offer insights as to which bell crank (pedal shaft) I need? Pelican list the replacement for the later cars, but I don't know what changed in them over the years?

The part is now listed as: 930-423-027-01 For 1977-1986, but what is different about earlier cars? Am I better off to just look for an entire later pedal cluster?

    Keith,
I am in the process of doing the same thing. The 915 clutch pedal uses a big spring from the pedal to the pedal bracket. Your pedal bracket (the mount that bolts to the floor) doesnt have the pin that the spring bolts to. I found an SC pedal assy that I was going to modify. Then I found that the SC one doesnt have the mount for the brake light switch. I was going to cut the mount of my old bracket and weld it to the SC one. I was then browsing ebay and found a complete pedal assy from a 1977 that was exactly what I needed so I pieced them all together to make one perfect one. I didnt take any pictures sorry. In short, I would just get another pedal assy and possibly have to swap some parts around.

Gotcha - that's exactly the ins and outs I need to know! Thanks!

Anyone have pictures of a 72/73 pedal cluster for comparison?
