New Problem ..
well .... I found a broblema in my car (Porsche 3.0 RSR ,8000 Rpm) from 4000 to 5000 rpm, I installed an alternator of 3.2 with a battery racing (small).
it is possible that this problem is caused by the alternator with this battery?

From 4000 to 5000 rpm not speed up ...
knead ... as if it were a question of electricity

The alternator is charging the battery at 14 amps, but sometimes the rev counter jumps up to full scale ...

Do you mean 14 volts? Or amps? 14 Volts is good, I am not sure of the correct current.
Maybe it is the voltage regulator? Does the alternator light come on or glow at all like when the tachometer jumps?
It would help a lot if you could post a video (audio) clip of the motor running through that rev range (such as on the dyno if it is not in the car).

14 volts normally shrouded peaks 15volt
but the absurd and the tachometer does not always do it when the car .. and a little traveling to the max (like in a competition) and for a few moments .. but always bear in engine performance from 4000 to 5000 rpm
is absurd ...
I am having a little trouble understanding your last post.
I can only reccommend to start with the simple things. Make sure the spark plug wires are all connected properly. You can mist them with water at night and see if there is any arcing.
Are you running point-type ignition? Maybe the gap is incorrect or they are bouncing.
Also, it could maybe be sticking centrifugal advance weights on the distributor rotor.

no no distributor is from a normal 6-pin box cd ... changed into twinplug
do not have any arcing ...
is a problem with the alternator but I do not understand where it can be
What, in your opinion, should I check?![]()
Once the alternator is charging the battery, I don't understand how the alternator could be causing the engine to miss or not have power. Is this a tach problem or does the engine cut out in that rev range. If it's the tach I'd suspect a ground or the points. Or it could be fuel pressure or fuel feed.

Why fuel pressure or fuel feed??
what value should the fuel pressure?
you consider that I have installed, into my engine, MFI ..
