I read that Bosch was reproducing the little black switches with the aluminum knurled nuts that were used for the ignition box cut-off on twin plug cars. Any truth to this and if so, where can we buy them?
Thanks

I have these. They do have metal nuts but have a 'spade' terminal rather than the earlier screws.
I am a just having some white knobs turned by a local model maker so they can match up to more like to original factory switches.
The price from Bosch is, however, quite unpleasant.
Chris, where did you get them?

Those hella switches are great! looks like they have the shiny black knob and the aluminum knurled nut= perfect for the R- RSR
The bosch switches we have have long necks on them, black plastic knurled nuts, and a frosted black knob. Cost is $22 each from us
we have one bosch double pole switch left at $40 (short neck, plastic nut, frosted knob)
but frankly, i would rather have the hellas !![]()

i went with the hella one for my aux light switches a few weeks back. i could buy two for what i sold my oem fog light switch for, and have some extra left over. they are a bit cheeper in quality/feel, than the oem fog light switch i sold, but for the price, they are a hell of a deal.
Dave, you can check em out if you want to see em in person when we head to VA this week.

These are the ones in the above photographPart Number 0340003003
They are just expensive but very good.
There are some original screw terminal switches available from a German company that specialises in old Bosch parts.
They want $60 for one with a black 'button' and $95 for the white version
The Hella switch has a much larger diameter 'button'
These are the ones that were used for the rear window wiper.
, and have 4 spades. Two of them are constant power and 2 spades are switched by pulling, if I'm not mistaking.
The coil, fuel pump or SWB foglight switches only had 2 connectors.
The 2 connector switches are replaced by Bosch with inferior plastic ones.
