    73 2.7 RS vs 74 2.7 Carrera Engine Value

What is the general concensus as to what a 74 2.7 Carrera engine is worth compared to a 73 RS engine - original and complete from air filter to exhaust (w/ original MFI)

I know the main difference is just the different engine serial # number, but how much difference is terms of price could one expect to pay?

    Thanks

First and most important, is the 74 Carrera engine a U.S.A. engine,or Euro?

    911/83 engine

From my experience, the engines are the same, but the one with a 73 engine number has quite a large premium, let's say 30-50%, especially for the owner of the corresponding 73 RS
Over here prices for 74/75 911/83 engines are around $10-12k needing rebuild.
