FS: TTG US TN4 Fog Light Starter set

I put together a set for sale for that someone who would like to get into TTG lights for less than buying all of the 100% Porsche pieces separately.

    SOLD

-----NOS lights with NOS TN4 Lenses.

-----New repro mounting brackets with hardware.

-----New horn grills home cut for TTG using the proper templates.

    -----NOS switch.

A couple of things I'd like to tell you about the lights. One, they are NOS Hella after market spec. with the single wire grommet instead of the larger wire grommet. Also, they do not have a separate ground spade mounted to the case inside. The lenses are Porsche NOS Hella TN4s. The only minus is that one of the lights has a little bit of spider webbing under the chrome on the back of the case. Would probably be tough to see once installed. The lense seals are NOS supple.

One of the reasons the Euro lights seem to be more popular than the US TN4s is because of the 55W Euro halogen bulb rating versus the original 35W US Tungsten bulb rating. To compete with those Euro guys, I've found 45W and 50W tungsten bulbs in the same bayonet base that fits the TN4 sockets and produces more light than the original 35W units. So, I've put these lights together without the bulb shields to run the brighter (hotter) bulbs. I have one of the 50W bulbs and would include it with the lights.

Though the switch is technically a different part number from the fog switch, it is functionally the same switch as the fog with the only difference being the color of the tip of the light rod under the knob (yellow versus green). This switch has never had spade connectors attached. NOS rubber knob surround with repro fog symbol.

For those after "correct" as much as possible, I can modify the lights to full Porsche TN4 spec. (put the bulb shields back in, modify for the proper 2 wire grommet size and add the proper grounding spade inside the case).

Price for the set with proper "Porsche spec" TN4 lights is.....$850 shipped in CONUS.SOLD

Now, a couple of pics. As always, feel free to email me with any questions or full res photos. michaelfred@sbcglobal.net
