    Cibie Hood Light Question

I have a pair of hood lights and one of the trim rings sits higher on the housing than it should. The first pic shows that and the second pic shows a proper fit. Can this be adjusted to make the trim ring fit lower on the housing? Looking at the assembly, I don't think so and it may be that I have a slightly mismatched housing/reflector holder/trim ring setup.

Any help would be apprecitated. Thanks.

The rim is connected to the bracket that is bolted to the "tub" of the light. Take off the rim and loosen all of the screws on that bracket. Then see if you can adjust the bracket down slightly and re-tighten the screws. Let us know.

I will try that Peter, but I have had the light partially apart and it does not look as if I can make an adjustment. I will give it another go and report back.

    +1 Peter

Look at the picture. Loosen the 4 screws that hold the mounting ring(red arrow) that the lens/reflector attaches to, and re position it a bit lower.
