    Wink side window's

Any body know if the side 1/4 windows were changed to anodized aluminum along with the driver and passinger windows in 1968? It is hard to tell as they look more chrome finish than the main window frames for 68 and later Regards chris

    side window's

I'm very sure the 1/4 windows remained chrome plated brass for 68.

    1/4 windows

Thanks guys for the reply. With this info I will go out and buy two windows for my 1968 911L off a 66 912. They are also no tint as my car is so looks to be a good fit. Regards Chris Early S Registry#205

    Hi,
The 68 uses the same front opening 1/4 as all pre 68 coupe. All other chrome used on the windows
Became anodised ally. Coupe and targa are different, and also the opening latch is different from euro to US
    Spec.

PS it is pretty easy to change the glass if required
