    Value ?

Looking for opinions on Value from the Peanut Gallery : I stumbled on a Silver/Black 70' T Targa the other day in the back Lot of a Company i buy Septic tanks from . The car has not run in years after a botched engine rebuild , She is all there and not a Rusty Mess yet ......I have never been a Lover of Targas and i really don't Need or want the car . That being said !? ......I offered $2500 for the car (it's a Sickness) . The car is on Maui(but not a Hawaii car) , and getting a non-running car shipped is Expensive ........Your Thoughts Gentlemen ?

At a minimum the car sounds like it will require a full engine and transmission rebuild and some body work. When you add in the cost of shipping it to the continental US I suspect that your $2500 offer is perhaps even high. Especially when you add in that you have little affection for Targas.

    You can't save them all.
