    Could any one please help?

I have bought an 66 912 here in Norway recently, it was exported from US (California I think, found map of LA in car) to Norway in the eightees, but now the papers are missing. To get the car registred here in Norway I need at least a statement from US Veihcle Dep. which show the car is "clean" and are exported or so.

I have tried to contact VD with out any luck, have also contacted Porsche Cars Pacific, Burlingame, as they delivered the car in 66.

VINnr 458120, date of invoice 11.July'66, 1967 modell 912, Polored.

If anyone have an email address to the correct department who can help me I would be very greatful. I need to sort this out to see if this 912 could be saved. Of course, if someone have a cheap rust free SWB 912 chassis and could help ship to Norway......

That's a tough one. What I think I would try is one of the companies in the US that offer to produce clean titles most are on the up and up and will search it to make sure clean prior to issue. I would google up 'car titles', 'replacement car titles' and what ever other term you think of. See if someone else chimes in here but I know for a fact you can get a title if car is clean. If you start messing in US government bureacracy you will get no where. Below link example.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.
