I know of two different cars, owned by two different individuals, that are available. Both are in the midst of full restorations, sold unassembled, and are numbers matching/complete. Oxford blue one is less than $160,000.00 and an Aubergine car for just over $200,000.00. PM me for more info. John
. . . Edmund Harris' personal car:

No VIN or engine number given
Light Yellow over black
LHD
2 owners from new, 23.2K kms
Probably require multiple organ donation, but . . . . where will you find another one like it?

Here a couple as well: http://www.psautomobile.de/angebote_911. In an ad in Octane they said that they have a M471 as well but that's not on the site!
the Bahia red RS on that site is very interesting.
It is 911 360 0034 the first RS delivered to France in Nov 1972. I have seen it for sale twice (now and in 2007) and both times it was described as having all lightweight panels although it is not a M471 lightweight. Maybe that is the confusion with the Octane ad? Obviously all the early cars had lightweight panels to get the homologation done.
It is supposed to be an extremely original 3 owner car - first owner to 1974, the second to 2007 - that has only ever had one exterior repaint.
the other point of interest is the chrome horn grills. Original???

If it is so original should it not have a steel front spoiler?

my understanding is YES the French delivery cars had to be delivered with a steel "S" front spoiler not the then Glass ones weighing about 3KG less.
however as this ws the first one delivered who knows if it has the S one which was immediately replaced or had the glass one or the glass one is a subsequent replacement
it would be interesting to see the original delivery specs
