WTB: Gas Evap Tank 71T

The plastic evap tank tucked inside the left front fender on my 71T is cracking. Anyone have one? I guess the gas vapors make them brittle. Not sure if they're available new.

Hi John,

In case it helps you can still buy them new from Porsche, but for what they are they are very expensive.

I have one - out in one of the boxes in my shed. Remember it being in good shape, but haven't looked at it in a couple of years. I can check this weekend for you.

You can retrofit a later tank unless you need the points for concurs.

I need one too...unfortunately I never had one so am not sure which one I need exactly either. I thought they were NLA from Porsche.

Thanks Tom, but that's not it. PET manual does not show tank I need -- it is mounted inside right front wheelwell ahead of tire. The one you show goes behind the instrument cluster.
