I'm going, its a three day event. I drove the track today on my way to work. Should be a fun time, I hope it turns out better than the one time only Washington DC Grand Prix.

There is an Indy Car race on Sunday and a ALMS race on Saturday. The website for the event is http:\\baltimoregrandprix.com
Several hotels have Grand Prix packages.

Life is way too short to drive boring cars.
Hey guys I managed to make the ALMS race right on cue and believe me it was one of the coolest events to grace baltimore/wash area in a long time!
with the cars screaming down Pratt st past the convention center at better than 175 mph it was a blast ,hadnt planned on making the IRL event may need to
cool off from saturdays sunburn,if you dop make it wear good walking apparel and get the sunblock out.
The corrals were great lots of Vettes though and a good representation of Porsche and BMW saw a vintage Mk V series GT40 in Gulf blue and orange livery
very tasteful.
Great event try to get out Bert
went saturday, stood by the chicane (on start finish straight) for the ALMS race - great location. Only saw one early 911

Went both days, had a great time. I hope it was a financial success and they have it again next year.

That chicane looked pretty stupid/added at last minute.
How about that first turn pile-up. Stupid Corvettes. They did it again later in the race.
Too bad about the Lizards. They just can't get any good luck this year.

Boy, that looked like a great event from the tv coverage, and some good racing. The only thing that kept me from going is that it is the same weekend as the Lime Rock Vintage races. The Falken Porsche has made huge development progress this year, if they keep the momentum going they could leapfrog Flying Lizards as the 911 to beat.
