SCRAMP usually counts each "day" as a "ticket sold" (3-day passes count as three "tickets") but that's still a very impressive number. As they discovered when FIA-GT came in '97 and '98, there is a long tradition in this area of attending an event at Laguna in October -- the former Can-Am weekend. The weather here in the Monterey Bay area is usually at its best in October (although we can also get some rain). On the other hand, traffic at Laguna can be a PITA...

The Moto GP pulls bigger crowds, so I think this event will be filled but not ridiculously congested like the GP.

REALLY looking forward to this event.

In regards to ticket sales how does the Rennsport compare to the Historics last August?
