911R 911 ST Exhaust Complete, a Barn Find!

Here is a complete exhaust for a 911R and 911 ST, stored in an attick since the mid-70's

I posted the rest of the photos in this thread http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...l=1#post535179

PS: The exhaust is going to a Kremer built 911 S/T, found a great home after all these years. Amazing!

Do you have any pics of the muffler stampings? Part number, maker etc, date code, etc? Would be lovely to see.

Yes, those additional photos are posted in the link in the above post, I didn't want to repost the same photos, but here are some.

I wanted to share on the excitement of finding this exhaust system, complete and these many years later. Almost as exciting as the 910 exhaust I purchase a couple of months ago, and that's another story.

We continue and wonder how many more rare and NLA parts like these are sitting around in some dark places, unbeknown to most of us. "The thrill of the hunt", I hope it never ends...

    70SATMan ,

The muffler part no. is shown in the other thread that has the provided link . Part number in black felt pen , only the engine type number stamped . I don't think any makers markings.

Those headers are a thing of beauty.

    914-6 GT + 911R / ST + 910 Exhausts - Side-by-side...

I wanted to take these photos before packing it all up. Not often that I get to see them like this, side-by-side...

Note how much longer the GT exhaust really is when compared to the other two (911 and 910)

PS: The lone two megaphones on the steps (2nd photo) are from a 73/74 911 RSR...

    ...a few more, sideways...

BTW, the last photo is the bottom side of the 914-6 GT muffler, it shows the stamped numbers on the can.

Does anybody know what the "370" number signifies? Could it be the number of units being produced?

Very, but I just can't get over how much longer the exhaust on the GT really is, even when compared to the 906/910. I was surprised to see that...
