    FS: @eBay - 1970 911S Roller w/ Matching #'s Engine Case

After a lot of consideration, I've decided to forgo my 911S project.

I've started to sell of some parts as I need to recoup as much as I can - I suspect I'll still take a bit of a loss, but that's life.

Anyway, I've listed the roller on eBay and will offer a $500 discount if an Early S Reg member buys it.

It's mostly striped bare and has the rear quarter panels removed (they were flares welded on to replacement panels, lap welded onto the chassis)

At a bare minimum, the chassis needs the following rust repair:
    - Rockers (inner and outer - both sides)
    - Some floor patches
    - Front corner work (battery boxes OK)
    - Rear panel repair
    - Rear longitudinal rails
    - Rear quarters welded on (have a set of panels cut from a 70 coupe)

    Sale includes:
    - Bare Chassis w roller T suspension
    - Bare Engine Case (matching # for car, but has been bored for 90mm P&Cs by PO. Fully prepped by Rensport / Ollies a few years back and on the shelf since)
    - Rear quarter panel cutoffs from a 70 coupe
    - Excellent front fenders
    - Good steel decklid and front hood
    - Doors
    - Title (bill of sale from me + title from PO)
    - COA from Porsche
    - Blank front aluminum ID tag (correct 'C' series S tag - original lost by paint shop)

**Also includes OEM Porsche inner and outer rockers and front fender mount plates**

This will need a lot of work, but it's worth the effort - unfortunately, I just don't have the time I thought I did when I started.

Just wanted to say that this is a very nicely documented sale. Thanks for that and best wishes for the sale.

LongRanger - Thanks for posting the VIN and Engien number - I meant to do that myself. It seems the factory was a bit remiss in recording transaxle #'s back then - I've had a few COAs now that have no trans #.
That said, I do have a rebuilt 911/01 transaxle from a 71 that I can include for $1,400 I'll even include a 1970 dated case to move the internals over to.

Jonesy78 - Thanks, part of the reason for the sale is it was a huge project that I just don't have the time for.

Reserve lowered to $6k - basically, it's close to making it and then it sells for what it sells for.
    Thanks

Reserve is met and it's ending later today!
I'm putting on the 911T suspension to make it a roller for easier transport, but will also include a pair of hydroneumatic struts as the COA mentions 'comfort group'

    Thanks

Well, after eBay winning notification, 5 e-mails and 3 un-returned phone calls all equalling ZERO contact, a deadbeat bidder from Sherridan WY, is on my blocked bidders list
Roller package for sale for $8,000 OBO.
If not sold in the next couple of weeks, it will get relisted - although at this point, I'm almost done with eBay and their policies.
    Regards,
    Andrew M

doesnt make much sence for him to do that unless he is trying to corner the market somehow....or maybe he want to just own every 911s out there
