    Sport seat - frame

For those who have rebuilt sport seats - is the seat back metal frame supposed to be a rectangle or does it actually lean a little bit towards the center of the car?

    Best,

    Hi Alex,

I am not 100% sure what you mean, but the rear frame should be square against the base. I have some sport seats we have just restored for a customer behind me right now, stored in my office. Maybe a pic may help?

    Any help?

    Alan

My seat back frame is not a rectangle its more of a slightly tilted parallelagram. I know some brands of seats did this on purpose in order to lean in a bit and allow cleanance from the door pillars. Just not sure about these sport seats. I'm thinking they are supposed to be perfect rectangles with right angles at all corners.

    Confirmation?

    Thanks all,

    Best,

    Alex
