    Tires for 67

My 67 SWT had had 185/70s fitted to the original 4 1/2 Fuchs. The tires appeared crowded and the handling was less than inspiring . I put 7Rs on the car with wider tires and it transformed the handling completely, but it just does not look right. I have decided to go back to the 4 1/2s. What tire are you guys running on the narrow rims

You should also consider Michelin XZX's and XAS's in 165's or Pirelli CA67's in 165's and CN36's available in 175's. You may also want to consider Avon CR6ZZ also available in 175's.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Vredestein Sprint Classics on my 4 1/2" Fuchs, they look and feel right, plus you can't beat the price. Might go for some CN36's next time.
