    First 1965 solex Pi 40 drive after rebuild

    Hi

    Just finished my solex rebuild..... so how will it run??

    It ran great... it was a very short trip though, had to go with the kids to shopping.
    It had no flat spot, and with very steady idle. Only issue is that the new trottel shaft seal is a littel on the thight side so, when you let of the pedal, it have a littel difficult to go back on low idle. Have to put a stronger return spring at the gearbox- speeder linkage.

    Tommorow I will go for a long ride so I can check everything when the engine is at normal working temperature 90 deg. and everything have expand proberbly.
    Then the tune in, with the jets start, I start with idle 55, aircorrect 180 and main jet 140 because of the 34mm venturi and the ø42mm bore , and take it from this point.
