For Sale: SWB 911 Passenger Side Rear Bumpers

As explained previously, I ended up with extra bumpers for my project. I used the extras for hammer/dolly practice, plus experimentation with rust removal, as well as testing out coatings, paints and undercoating. The result of my experiments left me with these two passenger side SWB bumpers which are certainly not NOS, but are, in my opinion, better than cores. (Please excuse my dusty hand prints in the photos.)

Each of these pieces has been straightened, then media blasted and sprayed with self-etching primer.

On the inside, the primer was then sanded, and another coat of primer applied; sanded again; and sprayed with undercoating. (As you can see in the photos, one thing I learned was to wait until the undercoat was dry before removing it from the hangers.)

On the face side, the self-etching primer was sanded, another coat of primer applied, sanded and sprayed with semi-gloss black to show the surface flaws clearly. I am assuming that the buyer will have all outer surfaces sanded to bare metal by the paint shop in order to receive a guarantee on the work, so I spent less time working the outer faces.

These do not have the obvious flaws of the others that I've posted. Given that replacements are over $900, PRICE REDUCED TO $135 each (plus paypal and shipping fees) for these, which is less than many of the cores offered for sale in this forum. That said, I am still prepared to be educated.

I am also prepared to deliver them to Hershey, if someone wants to pick them up there and save the fees.
