A good Porsche machine shop in North East ?

    Hi,
Instead of shipping my parts to Southwest ; Does someone can recommend a good reputable machining shop in NH, ME, MA, CT or NY ?

I would like to do shuttle pinning, case savers and cleaning on a 7R case ; Micro polish on crank and cams ; rods sizing-balancing.

Thanks for your input !! Regards

+1 for Bob at Anchor .
great prices and the best part was a fast turnaround.
Took less then 2 weeks for full head rebuilds

Ollies in AZ is a great place too
but 10-16 week turnaround it tough wait

All I can say is they have a answering machine and you have to leave a message. I tried once, and never got a call back. I suspect it's a part time thing. Call Anchor, and Bob answers. Quick turn around, and excellent work. Very fair price.

I have used Exotech for help with a 930 transmission. They are very capable. I don't know whether they do machine shop types of services.

Two shops I can think of.... Carlquist Competition Engines, 98 Falls Avenue, Oakville, CT 06779

He does good case work and rod balancing/rebush

The other i am using now is Precision Automotive in Simsbury, Ct. He comes recommended by Musante Motorsport.
